The table below lists the CBx protocol RFID commands supported by the Gateway

and EMS’ RFID Controllers.

Write protects a block of tag

Fill Tag

Writes a specified data byte value

to all defined tag addresses

Read Data

Reads a specified length of data

from a contiguous (sequential)

area of tag memory

Write Data

Writes a specified number of

bytes to a contiguous area of tag

memory

Read Tag ID

Reads a tag’s unique tag ID

number

Tag Search

Instructs the controller to search

for a tag in its RF field

Execute Macro

Instructs the controller to execute

one of its eight possible macros

Start Continuous

Read

Instructs the controller to start or

stop Continuous Read mode.

Reads a tag’s ID and the
