Configuring a PDA

CE PDA
PC Connection
The PC Connection control panel determines how ActiveSync works with the
PDA. To modify the default settings:
1. Select
Start > Settings > Control
Panel > PC Connection
.
2. Select the first checkbox to enable
direct connections to the desk-
top computer.
3. Tap the
Change Connection but-
ton to modify the connection
method from USB, IrDA, or
Serial.
4. To exit the
Change Connection
dialog, press
OK from the control
bar, or press the
<Enter> key on
the keypad.
5. To exit the
PC Connection Proper-
ties
control panel, press OK from
the control bar, or press the
<Enter> key on the keypad.
Power Configuration
To adjust powe r m a nagement settings,
select
Start > Settings > Control Panel >
Power
. Use this control panel to check
the charge on the battery or to change
the
Power settings.
Battery Tab
The Battery tab provides change level
indicators for
Main battery, and Backup
battery
.
To exit, pres s
OK from the command
bar, or press the
<Enter> key on the key-
pad.
